School Community Council [SCC]
About SCC
A school community council is a committee made up of parents and school professionals who help determine the needs of our school and the best methods and programs to support those needs through the School Land Trust Program. Members of the school community council will meet together approximately 5-6 times during the school year to discuss the school’s needs, the School Land Trust plan, and its implementation.
The council is composed of seven members, with five membership positions reserved for parent representatives; the remaining 2 positions are filled by school employees. In any instance, there will always be two more parent members than employee members on the council. Please refer to the outlined SCC Bylaws for Sego Lily Elementary.
In 2023-2024 Sego Lily Elementary is receiving $89,027.77 from State Land Trusts
