Calling all curious minds in grades 3–6! Get ready to grow your knowledge, challenge yourself, and be part of a Sego Lily tradition!
At Sego Lily Elementary, learning goes beyond the classroom. One exciting way students can explore new ideas, celebrate what they know, and discover what they can do is by participating in Knowledge Bowl. This academic competition brings students together to learn, prepare, and test their knowledge across a variety of subjects.
History Is Our Focus for 2026–2027!
This year's Knowledge Bowl theme is History! Students will explore the people, places, events, and ideas that have shaped our world. As they prepare, they can discover fascinating stories from the past while building the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in competition.
Students in grades 3–6 are invited to participate. Preparation will take place throughout the school year as students build their knowledge and prepare for the March competition. Whether you already love history or simply enjoy learning something new, Knowledge Bowl is a wonderful opportunity to challenge yourself and be part of a team.
A Tradition of Excellence
Knowledge Bowl has become a meaningful part of Sego Lily's academic tradition. The school's Growing in Knowledge display celebrates the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of students who have participated in academic competitions over the years. The collection of awards and recognition reminds us that curiosity, perseverance, and a love of learning are worth celebrating.
From science and geography to history and the arts, Knowledge Bowl encourages students to explore a wide range of topics and develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them. It also provides opportunities to practice teamwork, build confidence, think critically, and learn alongside fellow students.
